In all sorts of ways, we seem to be living in traumatic times but what about singing to lift the spirits? Pictured are Wendy and David who run the Dyffryn Arth Community Choir with some of the committee members at their recent Zoom meeting. Although we can’t meet in person, the regular Zoom weekly practices are popular.
The choir is successful, friendly and welcoming with a varied repertoire - you don’t need to be able to read music to join in. It’s been recently supported by guest virtual accompanists from North Wales, on the piano, and Cambridge, on a church digital organ, but it really needs someone more local to help out with the piano accompaniments on a regular basis. The choir also needs more men!
